Famed session timeless, a classic elegance and simplicity, the Wassily chair by Marcel Breuer, leaves no doubt, is one of the masterpieces of twentieth century design.
 
Also known as model B3 came as the name suggests, designed for the residence of the constructivist painter Wassily Kandinsky and colleague at the time as Breuer (1925), worked at the Bauhaus School in Dessau.
 
Consists of a tubular chromed steel with seat and back and arms in regenerated leather Wassily chair was a product of the revolutionary for its time, especially for the materials precisely folded steel and cloth that characterized the first version of the session.
 
It is said that this session had been inspired by Breuer in his other creation, the bicycle, Adler, who inspired the decision to use steel pipes.
 
The first prototype in 1925, underwent a series of changes over time such as the chassis was built in 1927 in its current form consists of a continuous tube, without any addition, bending that circumscribes a cubic space.

Winner of many awards including mention: The Museum of Modern Art Award, 1968, Recognition as "Piece of Art," West Germany, 1982. The Wassily chair is now in the permanent collection at MOMA in New York.
